The SonicPoint N-Series models, SonicPoint-Ni, SonicPoint-Ne and SonicPoint-N Dual-Radio provide high-speed wireless access with greater range and better reliability. With support for IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n standards, SonicPoint access point devices provide secure, faster access to data, voice and video over high-bandwidth wireless LANs.
Dell SonicWALL Wireless Guest Services (WGS) enforces the use of a password in order for customers and visitors to access the Internet. Virtual Access Points (VAPs) create secure segmentation between trusted and un-trusted wireless users by allowing broadcast of up to eight unique SSIDs. Employees can securely access network resources from the wireless network using SSL VPN or IPSec VPN.
SonicPoint-N Series wireless access points working together with a Dell SonicWALL firewall offer a single point of wireless monitoring and management, lowering the total cost of infrastructure ownership. Only one set of security policies is required and enforced over both wired and wireless networks. SonicPoint-N Dual-Radio even allows for the dedication of one radio channel for compliance testing, while the other continues to supports users, for increased flexibility.
Scalable to networks of any size, SonicPoint-N Series wireless access points require no pre-configuration. SonicPoint-N Series can automatically contact a Dell SonicWALL SuperMassive E10000, SuperMassive 9000, E-Class NSA, NSA and TZ Series appliance to auto-provision the latest firmware and configurations, and simplify rapid secure wireless deployment. You can also add more SonicPoint-N Series wireless access points to extend the reach of your network as needed.
Power over Ethernet Injector.
Dell SonicWALL SonicPoint-N Series wireless access points can receive power directly from Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) cabling through the Power over Ethernet (PoE) Injector. SonicPoint-N Dual-Radio and SonicPoint-Ne Dual-Band access points can also be powered directly through an AC adapter.
